Defying Technology
A told-you-so moment, as we finally arrive at the apogee of the nanny paradigm.
Guidance has been a poisoned fang of the state. The consortium of monitoring that is supposed to instill discipline to our young has got tricky because the technological rationale is hazy. The fine line between spending more time on the frivolous aspects of electronic gadgetary and being adept with technology as a virtue, sets forth a deliriously controversial issue as to the extent we can push nurturing our young in school on this aspect. Technology is a productivity aide and not a substitute for traditional pedagogy. Lets find some kind of recourse and defence against the current technology already in existence, before we get overwhelmed by the bells and whistles. Anyone who complains about game consoles will have the snot beaten out of them, or so i hear them say. Truly, as volte faces go, this has to be one of the most volte we have ever faced and, offhand, I can think of only one possible defence: Let the innocuous remain innocuous. Cut our youth some slack.
We tend to be victims of our own propaganda, or so eu thinks so. Anyone wants to take any bet on this?
