cognitive dissonance
we might be in a crisis for we've been preparing for since god knows when. here's how it happens if the conventional ideas still stay rooted to our beliefs.
first of all, we project beyond where our vision takes us. paybacks serve as an incentive only to those who refuse to get smothered at the end of the cycle. for one reason or another, i've been running in the league of the believers - the ones who get smothered only when the genuine system fails to deliver. put another way, there is no rationale behind what we perceive as cyclical outcomes. probabilities get attached to results, both in the event and decision sense. but what essentially matters most takes place at the very end of the cycle. like it or not, the game ends there. no one questions why, for no one knows why either. as the game gets tight, we gon' get tighter. as the game turns light, we gon' turn lighter. the solution tends to be that we take as a point, or rather a level not to fall under. More seriously in the context of an arms race - with words or never - we are all given the choice to choose. the choice to choose from individuals, or even groups of these people. the problem is no one can explain is why these were even chosen from the beginning. as a result, we end up using a benchmark that is arbitrarily chosen for the longest time ever.
well when east meets west, this dissonance shall be rightfully put to test. that's the way it should work best. till the day then, i guess.
these deadlines, are dead-lines.
