today
a decade ago, the journey, was as good as a ravelled story.
a decade later, the city remains to be looked upon as a land of iniquity.
a year ago, the players made merry over a quarter of the game being over without any unnecessary timeouts.
a year later, it was all worries and nothing else but worries and doubts. as even the lakers start to pout, "we have only 3 more quarters left to 'up' this game or we're out."
a month ago, a mother came up to me and said, "You have to help my boy, he did a 49% for algebra."
a month later, i leaked out top class info, "here's the bar. a decade ago we're on par, but i have still come thus far."
yesterday, i got my long overdue pay (and that's perhaps what makes me stay).
today, i start to worry about the fashion-ed bills i'll soon have to pay.
today, it's childrens' day.
so allow me if i may:
"rain, rain, go away,
all the children want to play."
