Runnin' through some Grapevine
"Complex minds, set off to think of lines, which undermine, sapheads with a simple mind." - eu (yeah, that's my line)
Complexity is subjective. Similar to that of change - the more you try to change something, the more it stays the same. But yet complexity is productive. It triggers your mind to think beyond what it initially defined. The saying goes, the only way to define your limits is by going beyond them. Definitions are scary. I never liked 'em because it is difficult to define. Not that I dislike things with a tricky basis. But defining is specific, and it gives me the vibe that if I break outta this specific definition region, something bad is gonna happen. Just a bad omen. Yep, I'd rather defy than to define, period. One of men's greatest fear: When a girl you like walks up to you and start asking you to 'define' love. Love is what i'd classify under the complex category. I'm not a good lover. Never was. I never did well enough to qualify as good. But I won't change it. The more you try to change the way you love, the more it stays the same. Ironically, love has no limits. Cliche men of the modern times would certainly be more than glad to pull off this line, "Hey look girl, my love for you transcends all boundries.." That's it. That is a measure made by men to go beyond their limits in order to 'define' themselves to someone they think they really love. Only then, men will tell themselves, "Check this out, I 'defined' love." See what men love to do. They love complexity. So who are they trying to undermine? I wish the answer is mine, so I can give sapheads a couple of lines. Well but I say.. MINE :)
