he's more than who eu thinks he is

just a riddle to remind myself.

he's my constant companion. he's my greatest helper or heaviest burden. he'll push me onward or drag me down to failure. he's completely at my command. half the things he does i might just as well turn over to him and he will be able to do them quickly and correctly.

he's easily managed - i must merely be firm with him. show him exactly how i want something done and after a few lessons he will do it automatically. he is the servant of all great individuals and alas, of all failures, as well. those who're great, he has made great. those who are failures, he has made failures.

he is not a machine, though he works with all the precision of a machine plus the intelligence of a human. i may run him for a profit or run him for ruin - it makes no difference to him.

take him, train him, be firm with him, and he will place the world at my feet. be easy with him and he'll destroy me.

i'll remember who he is.
